We picked this fruit from several small-berry clones grown in the Paso Robles region of California. This vintage offered a longer growing season than most. The warm days made it possible for us to leave the fruit on the vine for a longer period. This helped the fruit to develop additional depth and character prior to harvest.

Our Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in small tanks before being introduced to French and American oak for about a year. A small amount of Merlot and Syrah were blended in for added structure. Rich, ripe black cherry flavors are followed by a hint of chocolate and a nice lingering finish that is soft and velvety.
